Try Deep

Step 1 : If you are confident that you have visualized the final position take the test: click here

We are going to try to see as deep as possible. We are not going to stop anywhere in between and look for a better branching move. This is just to practice how to read a variation that already has been analysed. When we reach the end of the analysis do we actually see that position without moving any of the pieces on board? It is this ability to see so deep that we wish to help you develop. Once you have completed a few of these exercises [many more to come] you will find an amazing improvement in your games or your ability to read master annotations.

While you move the mouse pointer over the variation try to imagine the move on the board. If it is difficult half way through start all over again. Please see below the board for further help. It is important to set a time limit for yourself.
